A Healthier Way To Eat Chicken Nuggets

It’s no secret that chicken nuggets are the most popular food group for children. I remember when I was younger if it wasn’t chicken nuggets and french fries then I did not want to hear about it. Getting kids to their veggies or anything particularly healthy is a common struggle that all parents face. There’s nothing worse than the screaming and crying tantrum you children throw when they’re told dinner is chicken and broccoli, not chicken nuggets! Part of you wants to give in so the crying stops, while the other part of you is telling yourself to stay strong and it’s for their own good. You struggle time and time again to get your kids to listen and put something healthy in their bodies for once! Fortunately, healthy alternatives have become increasingly popular and now we have a healthy chicken nugget recipes to offer you. You don’t even have to tell your kids they are healthy, they won’t know the difference!

    • 16 oz or 2 large skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

    • 2 tsp olive oil
    • 6 tbsp whole wheat Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
    • 2 tbsp panko
    • 2 tbsp grated parmesan
    • olive oil spray

The Process

Start by preheating the oven to 425°F. and spray a baking sheet with olive oil. Then place olive oil in one bowl and panko and cheese in another bowl.
